This is actually a Super knowledge gaining post and all thanks to google search engine get me on here. I loved reading your post and added to the bookmarks. The animation is quite stunning and wonderful though, as is the costuming and set design (in so much as there were sets and not just green screens, I'm sure SOME actual props were used). There are some clever elements that owe only to good visual design and direction I'm sure, as the only other clever bits in the dialogue were the parts directly lifted from the originals.

Meanwhile, Depp's Mad Hatter is so dull and phoned-in that one can barely call it acting (Unless putting on too much blush and a stupid wig counts.), Mia Wasikowska's Alice is so wooden that I kept expecting the Cheshire Cat to use her left arm as a tree branch, and while Helena Bonham Carter's Red Queen is mildly amusing, the odd chuckle here and there isn't enough to save this exercise in fantasy sleepwalking.

The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

The beauty of these blogging engines and CMS platforms is the lack of limitations and ease of manipulation that allows developers to implement rich content and 'skin' the site in such a way that with very little effort one would never notice what it is making the site tick all without limiting content and effectiveness.

If I might --perhaps you should consider adding a few images.  I dont mean to disrespect what youve said; its very enlightening, indeed.  However, I think would respond to it more positively if they could be something tangible to your ideas.  Keep it up, but put a little more into it next time.

Can I make a suggestion?  I think youve got something good here.  But what if you added a couple links to a page that backs up what youre saying?  Or maybe you could give us something to look at, something that would connect what youre saying to something tangible?  Just a suggestion.
